Program: the fluffy tamagotchi.

State of the project at February 7th1998

The starting point elements are:



- a Bandai tamagotchi, early generation. Bits of its program are mimicked in Lingo, to provide the Fluffy Tamagotchi with a tamagotchi engine.



- a second hand teddy bear, of approximately 60cm height.



- a toy plastic Chicco TV set, with a scrolling paper screen.

The Chicco TV was modified by the addition of sensors and relays. The image was changed too so that it now displays four different expressions at will. A pair of motorized arms are fitted on top of the face display.
All these mechanical parts are controlled by a BBC micro computer, according to the state of the tamagotchi engine that runs on a Mac.



State of the machine on 7th of February 1998.

The development will see the addition of a digestive system (including shit remover), a singing function, a pair of legs and a remote control panel.
